Eco sourcing is the term we use to describe the process of gathering seed from the area that ultimately the plants will be planted back in to. What this means is that the native plants we plant in Nelson are derived from trees that naturally occurred here. The advantages are that we not only retain the unique character of our region, but the plants we plant are uniquely adapted to survive in the local conditions.

Our nursery is dedicated to ecosourcing seed for our projects and as such has skilled and dedicated staff to identify seed sources and collect seed.
