New Mower Alert!

The Recreation Team have a new mower!

The Toro ProLine H800 rotary catcher mower is replacing our high-maintenance Walker catcher mowers. The mower will be used on all our Elite and Premium turf areas that require catching under our Greenspaces contract with NCC. This will range from Hort parks/ Cemeteries and reserves as well as private jobs like Boys College and Nelson Airport. This mower will leave a high-quality visual appearance due to the mower being able to remove the clippings.

The Toro is also four wheel drive which will help us with any wet or sloping areas and prevent us getting stuck. The new mower also has a larger catcher capable of holding 810 litres of grass clipping.

The high performance cutting system of the Toro delivers a clean quality of cut – crucial for our operation.
